" So glad that Dr. Kara Criswell actually talked with me, asking questions, and investigating the source of my problem (lumps on my hips and thighs). Four previous doctors (PCP, dermatologist, back doctor, and another plastic surgeon) did none of these things and I was left hanging. Although we still don't know what is wrong, I felt better that there was a plan and that I was in good hands. Although filling out the online paperwork was a bit onerous, it was well worth the time to have thorough communication beforehand. And the scheduling staff was hugely helpful in scheduling my virtual and office visits on the same day when I became concerned about the timeline. I would 100% recommend this doctor and practice to anyone "

The nurse who assisted Dr. Chriswell was so great and so helpful, she was so easy to talk to and I think that’s important because a lot of people come in for the first time not knowing what to expect and are nervous and she made everything very easy and put a lot of my worries at ease. I did have trouble finding the actual office door once I was inside the shopping center and Alexis was trying to help me but kind of got rude and started huffing and puffing on the phone because she got aggravated that I couldn’t find the door and it happened to be that I was on the opposite side of where I should have been. " My particular challenges only came from not being able to schedule appointment until all info received in office and nurse evaluate before I could even schedule a consultation. The other concern was taking pre appointment photos and sending them when I have no internet or WiFi other than my phone and it was awkward taking the photos myself. I ended up going to a friends house and forwarded link to televisit to her computer for a better experience than my small screen on phone. Everything was excellent after that and I look forward to my 2nd consultation where a clinical exam will happen. "

" I almost never answer customer satisfaction surveys, but my experience with Criswell & Chriswell was so remarkable, I had to let you know. I came in for a BBL treatment for rosacea. I have had this procedure done many times at a facility in Montana so I was expecting a semi-painful treatment, and swollen, super-red face post-treatment. Stefanie performed the treatment and it was shockingly pain-free. She recommended a mineral sunscreen and applied some post-treatment. It was wonderful. I had very little swelling or redness yesterday (a first) and some slight swelling and redness today. Thank you so very much.

My only observation of an opportunity for improvement is to not ask multiple times whether or not a client wants to schedule after giving them the price of the service. It gives the impression that you don’t believe they understand what you’re stating and asking. I understood the first time that I would need to pay in full for the service to schedule the appointment. However, I was asked two subsequent times if I wanted to schedule today. Don’t judge a book by its cover. "

" Dr. Kara Criswell is an excellent plastic surgeon. She successfully performed a keloids excision surgery in an area where I had three previous failed surgeries. She knew without hesitation that I needed a series of radiation sessions, with the first session about one hour after she operated on me, to ensure that the keloids did not come back. More importantly, the neuropathic pain that I lived with for five years, because the keloids trapped my nerves, completely disappeared.
I highly recommend Dr. Kara Criswell, not only because she is a highly skilled plastic surgeon, but also because she is thoughtful, poised, well-mannered, considerate, and highly competent. My family and I thank her for the relief that I been enjoying from my strong neuropathic pain of many years.

" My only confusion was regarding the one-week follow up appointment. It was scheduled as virtual and I wasn’t really given clear direction how it would work. I received a text confirming the appointment time, but it didn’t indicate whether it was virtual or in person. I called and was told a nurse would call me. I just needed more clear communication about what to expect beforehand. When I called in for clarification, the staff was helpful, and my phone call appointment was fine. I just think it would have eased my mind to have known this is what to expect. "

" I was surprised at the end when asked if I wanted to leave a tip for my attending provider. I was so taken aback by this. How many people go see their doctor and tip their nurses? It’s unheard of. It actually makes me question the general morals of the facility not to mention the Hippocratic oath these medical professionals have all sworn by. Do you tip your doctor when you go see him/her for a checkup? No, insurance takes care of that. There is nothing extraneous aside from what insurance doesn’t cover. It seemed very tacky and just completely unethical. "
