" Dr Clark did a great job covering for Dr Irshad! After 2 weeks of eye issues, I wanted to get checked before an international travel/trip. Dr Clark identified the problem and corrected it. 12 hours later I feel fantastic and much more confident and comfortable with my travels.
Further, the clinic was able to get me in the same day.

" There was a bit of confusion with my appointment and should have been medical instead of vision and they fixed the issue right away and scheduled my vision exam afterwards. All the staff is very courteous and professional. I have seen other specialist for my vision before but will not go back since I started coming here. Best vision care in Austin by far. "

Dr. Irshad takes time to go over everything and explains in detail what he finds from the exam. We feel he gives us his full attention to every detail of our eye care. " I was not sent a reminder of my appointment so I called and they verified the date and time.as 7:30 on 10/1/24. The scheduler called me back and said that I had cancelled my appointment on 9/28/24. I informed her that I called on that day to reschedule my appointment because I had Covid. At that time she scheduled me for 10/1/24 at 7:30. I told her I had waited over a month for this appointment and the mistake was on the part of Eye Clinic. She put me on hold and came back to say my new appointment time was 8:00 am on 10/1/24. I had my pre-op yesterday at 8:00. "

" Sarah, the receptionist, was especially kind, insisting that a doctor could get to me even though it was there busiest day of the year--86 patients had been treated when I left at 3:45 pm on Friday, September 6th. Even with being so busy on a Friday afternoon, with 5 o'clock quitting time so close, Angie and Anna were both cheery and attentive to their job and to me. Dr. Irshad was his usual gifted self, examining carefully and asking insightful questions to find the cause of the pain in my right eye. I give the Eye Clinic an A+. Thank you good people! "

" My time with the doctor and medical assistant was great. The problem with the appointment was that staff did not share that dilation was required. While waiting, I noticed that was the case with other patients who were all unhappy about the surprise which impacted travel and the rest of their day. I would have scheduled differently had I known that in advance. I’d recommend you share that info when the patient is scheduling if it will be required. I didn’t have plans to get home with my eye dilated and did know I’d be unable to do my work using a computer screen the reminder of the day. "

I also have a cornea disease and knew I would need a cornea specialist.
Dr. Irshad said that he could take care of the cataract and explained that my recovery would take longer and I may ultimately need a cornea transplant. A few months later I received my first transplant. It was a DSEK and was surprisingly painless and over quickly. Within days I could see better than ever. 2 months later I had the other eye done. This time the cataract removal and DSEK surgery was combined. First the lens with the cataract was removed and a new lens implanted. Then some cells from a donor was transplanted into my cornea. It is quite amazing. Dr.Irshad and his staff relieved much of my anxiety and now I have the gift of sight. Of course I would like to thank the donors family. Dr. Irshad contacted the eye bank for me so that I could send a note of gratitude to the family of the donor. "

" I waited 35 minutes past my appointment time before I was called back for testing. Then after testing was completed I waited another 40 minutes before I was called to go to an exam room. Then it was another 10 minutes before the doctor arrived.
You do a very poor job of scheduling appointments. Too many people in too short of time causes a backup that patients have to wait through to complete their appointments. "

He verified that the procedure was something I needed. He said he had a few extra minutes available and if I was available, he could perform the procedure since my eyes were dilated. I was happily surprised that he could take care of it right then and there. The result was what I hoped it would be. "

Everything after that was great and the purchase process for my glasses was also great. I’ve had fillings, tooth restoration, bite assessment, crowns, extractions, implant crowns, and night guards here. This is a long-time proven local dental practice. My dentist Dr. Deutsch is skillful and knows his practice. The staff and dental assistants are also professional and trained. Today, Dr. Deutsch and dental assistant Maggie did a procedure that went well. I like how Dr. Deutsch explains my treatment options and fully answers my questions. This is important to me. Another plus, this practice keeps up with the technology and learning necessary to provide the best dental treatment/care. With dental care, you want a quality dentist and office—like 8118 DP.
