When calling Dr. Kelly's office, I am able to talk to a real person immediately, without a long list of menus and speaking with robots. Thank you for this, Dr. Kelly. Now for the cons: Almost every time a specialist requires lab tests that Dr. Kelly must prescribe, Dr. Kelly gets the codes wrong, and I wind up paying for the lab tests, until I can finish battling with my insurance companies to convince them that the tests were required for surgery or something similar. So, if you can help with this Dr. Kelly, it will be appreciated. Overall, I am very happy with Dr. Kelly and her staff, but if this concern could be addressed, it would help. "

" Despite confirming an alternate pharmacy for one medication that requires out of pocket payment (due to policy that no PAs will be completed under a specific dollar amount) with reception, MA, provider, and double checking with the MA before leaving (and confirming that the correct pharmacy was linked to the medication refill being submitted to Dr. Kelly for review), it was still sent to the wrong pharmacy. I contacted the office the following morning and await resolution. The staff were kind and thorough with my visit. Shoutout to Linda, Kacey, and Genevieve. Wonderful ladies. Completing a well woman exam in a room that was incredibly cold was a bit intense, I would encourage better temperature regulation in the exam rooms or the offering of a sheet/blanket. "

" I'm new to the area and have completely new insurance (Kaiser to Blue Cross) and needed to find a new primary care physician. The person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and helpful and was able to get me an appointment the next day. The new patient forms are available to fill out online, which saved time at check in. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. Kacey, the P.A. who saw me took the time to listen to my concerns and converse with me about my health issues to work on a course of treatment. She was very professional while still being warm and approachable. Also the nurse who took my blood (I don't recall her name unfortunately) for lab tests was awesome. My veins are very difficult to draw from and she was very thorough, skilled, empathetic, and concerned with my comfort. I'm used to having to be poked several times, and sometimes having to fish around with the needle, she kept it to a minimum and I appreciated her care. "

After a short wait, you are weighed in, led to an exam room and the pre-doctor consultation begins. Shortly after completion of the pre-doctor consultation they retire to bring the doctor up to date on your meds, blood pressure, aches and pains and note any prescriptions that need to be renewed. Then Dr Kelly takes over and she deals with whatever brought you in. She is friendly, caring, competent and listens to what you have to say. " The receptionist ignored me. She was on a call for a long time scheduling an appointment. I felt she could have acknowledged me, asked the person on the phone to hold a minute, either check me in quickly or say I will have someone else check you in. The other person was on the phone as well. I sat down and another person walked in a was helped immediately by the second receptionist. She apparently didn’t realize I hadn’t been helped. The first receptionist never apologized after she finished her call. The nurse was a bit condescending towards me. I wanted a yearly physical and got a wellness visit. I wanted blood work and complete physical. The nurse said bloodwork work be extra charge. I tried to figure out what the difference between yearly physical and a wellness visit. "

She was with a small child, but somewhat belligerent about being in pain. The EMT's were called out. I was impressed that the staff maintained professionalism and courtesy for the duration and paid extra special attention to the childs needs and keeping them separate from all the "action"! good job! The receptionist is always so kids and talks to my kiddos the MA Natalie is always so kind and sweet, always smiling.
