" I usually go to the Fort Payne Pediatrics location but they were full. The staff at the Scottsboro location were so kind to get my 2 month old baby in to be seen on such a short notice. The Nurse Practitioner and Katelin were so kind and understanding and listened to all of my concerns. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to that office if they are close to that location. "

They were super understanding with how quickly we needed to be seen and leave since we had to go straight to the oral surgeon as soon as we left there. " We generally see Mrs. Maura and we just love her! She is is kind and she listens to any and all concerns that I have. She doesn't just seem like she is in a hurry to move to the next room (we know she is busy so we try not to take up too much time), but just the fact that she doesn't make us feel like she is eager to get out of the room is the best feeling. As a parent I can see how much she cares about my daughter and really wants to be sure she gets and stays well. My daughter adores her and always wants to hug her. When my daughters other pediatrician retired (the one she had seen since birth) I was very nervous and anxious about locating a new one, but I wish I had found Kids First in Scottsboro sooner! I think the name says it all because you guys really do put the kids FIRST and that means the world to this mama! Thank you all for being fantastic as a whole from the front desk personnel, the medical assistants, nurses all the way to the doctors! The entire staff is phenomenal! "

" When I called to schedule our first appointment, the lady who took our information did not seem to have the skills for that particular job. She asked me for the same information three to four times, she asked me to repeat almost everything I answered, and then when we arrived and were provided the information to review, almost all of it was wrong. One example is my email address. She asked for it four different times and each time she asked me to repeat it at least three times and still managed to put it into the system incorrectly. I was intentionally speaking very clear and slow because I could tell she was having a hard time, but it was ridiculous how many times I had to provide the information and she still entered it wrong. "

There was always an issue with scheduling on the date of the appt that’s wrong time or she wasnt even on there. We waiting hours for her to been seen for normal wellness visits. We saw the doctor 1 time. Also, never addressed my concerns. I am happy to finally be at a placed where we feel welcomed and taken care of. " The only problem I had was the nurse dropping my daughters needle/shot on the floor and still distributing it to her. I do work in a clinic and know it is against nurse rules to use anything that has touched the floor. I do wish there will be a talk with the nurses of Kids First. And hope I do not encounter this problem again. Other than that a ver fantastic job. "
