" Doctor and assistant were great. Receptionists only so-so. Scheduled my appointment wrong (card was not what I had agreed to), requiring me to call the next day. Another patient also returned to the office disgruntled about a mistake while I was in waiting room. Never an apology or empathy. "

" I have been extremely pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Thode and his staff. Recently I had a detached retina. Dr. Thode immediately made an appointment with a retinal specialist and the necessary procedure to save my eye was done within the next 3 hours. I am most thankful for knowing that my eye sight is in the best of hands. "

" I discussed with the pre-exam technician that I was having a problem with double vision. She took it upon herself to have the optical department look at my glasses. The technician in the optical department adjusted my frames which took away the double vision. The pre-exam technician also double checked my prescription strength. It was correct.

" I was glad that the service was given individually and I did not feel like I was in an assembly line.The care providers were knowledgable and considerate.
The only request I make is that the personnel speak louder since we seniors have hearing issues. "

" I needed special drops because my eye pressure was high after cataract surgery. I asked the doctor if one small sample bottle would be enough for both eyes 2x/day for 4 weeks. Oh yes, he replied. I had to return to the office two additional times (almost 1 1/2 hrs. of driving from Willow Street) to get additional drops! I would have appreciated knowing that I would have to return several times to pick up additional drops, or should have gotten more drops at the first visit!
Otherwise my doctor provided excellent care. I would recommend this practice to others. "
