" Amanda is exceptional. I dreaded this visit because my new prescription was inexplicably making the ground look distorted when I wore them . There was no obvious reason and it wasn’t a matter of getting accustomed to them. Amanda immediately put me at ease and rechecked my vision. When that did not provide a definitive answer she immediately looked for less obvious reasons. We came up with a plan and although we don’t know with certainty what is causing this, we have steps in place to find a resolution.
It would have been easy for Amanda to dismiss my concerns, but she didn’t and wasn’t impatient or condescending. She is a tremendous asset to the practice and I trust that you recognize that. "

" I attempted to schedule a procedure tine in a manner that accommodated other health issues. While the office scheduler assured me it was done, the surgery center said there were no notes and no accommodations made. The surgery center worked with the practice administrator to rearrange schedule at the last minute. When I was in office for folliwup I spoke to a scheduler in person to arrange procedure time for the following week. The scheduler was indifferent and appeared uninterested and bothered by my requests.
Every other interaction in the office was great. Assistants were genuinely friendly, kind and careful in explaining every step. Dr. Thode exudes confidence and I appreciate his time and expertise. Andrew in the eyeglass department was terrific. He discussed options, took time with me and other patients that I observed, and was efficient and enthusiastic in his care.
Other that procedure scheduler, my experience was positive and I greatly appreciated everyone’s care. "

I have not needed “readers” for close vision.

brand new, beautiful with the latest equipment!

" I really like that the first lady I think her name was Eva started my testing and stayed with me the whole time till I went into the room and waited for the doctor to come in she was so helpful I had a cane and moving me around for one thing to the next rather than having to sit and wait and get up and down and all that so that was very very helpful especially somebody that has problems but I think that'll be great for anybody that was new procedure than I ever had before much appreciated and Eva was very nice or was it ain't Amy I'm not sure I know she was from the Philippines cuz I asked her but she was really nice both fine I didn't have any trouble understanding her thank you so much for a great experience everybody was on time I was almost late but not I said I don't have to worry about being on time they're never on time but you were the day thanks a lot bye "
