" I was the 8:15 appt. I checked in at 8:05, just before
the 8:30 appt for same provider. I was called at 8:15.
Due to other commitments later that morning I asked
assistant to not dilate my eyes. This lead to a short,
1-2 minute conversation. Normal tests were done.
Then I was asked to wait for another room to be available.
I waited approx 10 mins. Room became available,
Waited less than 5 minutes for provider who quickly
reviewed my file, then examined my retinas and we
we're done. Went to checkout, 2 others ahead of me,
including the 8:30 appt patient! Obviously everyone
is a different situation. But I struggle to understand
how the 8:30 appt was done before me. I checked out
at 9:05. The care is very good but I think of going to
a less busy practice for a routine exam. "

" Dr Thode as always, was empathetic and clear in his discussion. Dr Thode is the best and the outcome of my corneal transplant exceeds all that I could have hoped for. On yesterday’s visit, I especially appreciated the time and care spent on my refraction exam in order to get it right. "

" Everything went great. Everyone was very nice and informative. I would like to tell you though about my checkout experience. When I was checking out the staff that checked me out was great however the staff that was sitting next to her was actually nodding off at the desk. I looked at her and her eyes were closed and her head was bobbing up and down. I personally thought it was hilarious however it was very unprofessional. "
