" I was nervous to switch to a new person after I found out that Charlotte had moved on, but Ivette was incredible. She took her time and answered all my questions thoroughly. I never felt rushed or like I couldn’t ask the questions that were bothering me. I didn’t catch the name of her nurse but she was also incredible. She’s closer to my age and would catch some of my jokes and helped make me laugh. Both of them reassured me in so many important ways that my body is completely normal and I am in great health. They also went out of their way to make sure I was supported during my Pap smear, which is always a very uncomfortable and anxious process for me. Thank you both for making women’s healthy care your passion and your patients comfort a priority. I will continue to return to Omega and recommend to anyone who may ask. "

" The medical assistant was not happy. I didn’t do the psychology survey because I was charged by my insurance for it separately one year, so I hit submit from page 1 & it gave me a login prompt. When she came in to collect the iPad I told her, she said it was required to be seen, Dr Rombro required it for my visit & I should’ve called the office about my bill, I said ok, I didnt know, so she reset the iPad, handed it back and left. On one of the questions I wanted to change my answer so I hit the back-page but it locked me out again. When she came in I knew she was annoyed already, she said you cannot hit back-page, I apologized, she snatched the iPad, said nevermind and left. I said I’ll fill it out as she was leaving but she was out the door before I even finished my sentence. I don’t complain, but it’s a very vulnerable appointment as it is, I don’t need someone to be kind but professional would be minimum for the medical assistant. Everyone else has been great including Dr. Rombro. "

" From the moment I walked through the door I sensed this would be a great experience. I had been searching for a new OBGYN since mine retired and was super skeptical about trying a new one. After doing extensive research I decided to go with Omega women’s Care. We met with the N.P Yvette who was just the sweetest, it was like we knew her forever. She was patient and very informative. She took her time to explain things in detail even while doing the procedures. We then met with Moana the ultrasound technician, who greeted us with smiles and warm welcomes at 8:30am. Moana was thorough and provided us with lots of photos of our new baby. We were then handed off to the check out desk where ended the visit with Marie the receptionist. Marie went over expectations for future visits, did a great job with accommodating on scheduling, and provided some great insight on resources available to us. The facility was well maintained, chic and upscale. I highly recommend. "

" The only thing that took a little longer than usual was the checkout. There were 3 employees all on the phone and none acknowledged me and one took a call after hanging up another call as I waited. Usually the checkout is very prompt. I would say I waited 5 minutes which isn’t very long but feels long when nobody acknowledges you are waiting. Otherwise a great office visit as usual. Dr Slaton is the best! "

My only suggestion to the office in general is to make appointments for small emergencies ( for example Uncomfortable UTIs or unexpected medical concerns) more accessible to the doctors or nurse practitioners because is very difficult to get an appointment specifically if you are feeling sick and have to wait a week or two, maybe telemedicine or special daily call backs from a nurse practitioner (if the doctors are busy) to address a patient’s concerns on that day will be nice. In overall this is a very wonderful practice and I highly recommend them. "

" Every doctor and nurse is extremely sweet, friendly, and warm EXCEPT dr slatan. She has horrible bed side manor, shamed me for being overweight, and was extreme insensitive to me when she saw I was upset that she made a derogatory comment about my weight. Most people that are overweight are aware of that, but she also doesn’t understand how I got to that. I suffer from depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. I also spent 2 years on nerve medication that made me gain 80 lbs. so before a health care provider judges and makes a nasty comment, they should educate themselves and or just be quiet. She’s horrible and brings down the vibes of the office. I would never want to be in her care. She is a horrible person. "

" Only thing I’d mention as an inconvenience was when having to take my PAP to an outside lab, the diagnosis code was not on the prescription and it was difficult to get a hold of anyone when calling the office to get it rectified. After calling numerous times and pressing numerous options to speak to someone (2 calls of which I pressed the emergency option) I was able to speak to someone after about 10minutes and then got the situation rectified promptly. Since becoming pregnant I have met with all of the doctors and Charlotte Meyers the APRN, and they have made my pregnancy wonderful, especially as it has not been an easy one. The staff is so wonderful and answers all my questions and make even drawing blood a pleasant experience. The only downside I will say is Tina in billing is not the nicest when speaking with patients who have genuine concerns of their bills and what they’re being charged for months after they’ve received services. She can be very hostile and curt with patients, however, every other member of the staff especially the ladies at check out have outstanding customer service skills. "

The nurse practitioner/medical assistant Alison was wonderful! Such a warm and friendly aura, and made me feel super comfortable as well. I didn’t know what to expect with Dr. Rombro before coming in to the office, but based on everything else, I knew she would be great. And I was surely right! Dr. Rombro was very nice, pleasant and super laidback; at some point I didn’t even feel like I was getting an examination, but like I was just chatting with a friend haha! But that’s absolutely not to discredit or take away from her obvious display of knowledge and expertise. She took my concerns seriously and explained to me what we would do moving forward! "

" The only issue I have is with the current ultrasound technician. She needs to work on her people skills and be on time. The first scan I had with her during my 1st trimester I mentioned that I wanted to try not to have an epidural for my 2nd (current) delivery and she had turned to me and said, "Why would you do that!?" As if NOT getting an epidural isn't the way to go when the first delivery I had I didn't ask for an epidural. The second scan which was the anatomy scan was the worst experince I've ever had. I was instructed to come in with a full bladder and I did, I came in early well over 10 mins before my appointment to update my insurance. I had waited and waited past my appointment time while dancing around since I had to go to the bathroom so bad. The lady up front calls the technician to come up and get me since I was doing the "peepee" dance. She reassured be that she'll be up here any minute. Around 5 mins past and I'm stuck in the lobby literally peeing myself in public. "

" I have now seen the nurse practitioner 3 times during my monthly and bi weekly appointments because you are so booked up. It would be nice to see the doctor or doctors that will be delivering my baby. Charlotte is a great nurse and I do like her a lot. Everytime I come to the appointments you are always running late. Is it very common for me to sit in the waiting room 20-30 min before I am even taken back. What is actually done for a check up should only take 15 min or so but takes at least an hour. However busy you are the staff is very great and nice. Just wish you could be a bit better about being on time for appointments if you make people reschedule for being 15 min late, the office shouldn't be late either. "

I was told that I was allowed to video chat during the sonogram and when I went in I was told to turn it off. He was waiting for me in the lobby with a mask on while video chatting with after the sonogram and he was singled out and asked to leave. He was told that no one was allowed to wait in the lobby when there were other people waiting in the lobby as well. I don't like that he was the only one who had to leave when no one informed us that the lobby had to be empty due to Covid regulations. "

I also thought the iPad questionnaire about the mental health which mostly talked about drinking was very ODD and also not something I would expect to have to take part of at my yearly gyno appointment. " There are two ladies at the front desk that are more intent on having casual conversations in person and over the phone with patients and with each other. Waits to finish their conversation whether work related or not before addressing someone who comes to check in at desk. This is on more than one occasion. However, there is one in particular that was very polite and attentive so I know front desk is able to provide quality service but some choose when to or whom to give attention and respect to. Definitely needs to be addressed because it is unprofessional. "

He also went on to say he’s only done 2 of this kind of IUDs which also made me very uncomfortable. " I have a situation where the covid protocol is difficult for me. I am a professional pilot and do not traveling for two weeks isn’t practical, nor is a negative covid test before I come in. Fortunately I happened to have vacation before coming so it worked out, but aside from that, coming back would be very difficult. Sue, the nurse was extremely adept and competent as was Dr Colon. It is SO refreshing to have people who actually think at their job instead of blindly following orders and not have the ability to deviate. Instead of having me come back- and have a problem with the covid/flying issue- the doc ordered the blood draw the same day. Not perfect- no- but still accomplishing the objective AND avoiding another issue and another visit. And Sue was also able to draw my blood in the office which was wonderful! I am a high performance person so I fully appreciate other competent people! Kudos to them!! I will absolutely be back for sure. Wish I found this office years ago. "

" love your office!! just some feedback on the only area that needs improvement - the final stop where you pay. if i am in front of you, please, pause what you are doing, help me, and check me out - dont make me wait while i watch you work and complete what you are doing, then assist me (this happened to me and i waited awkwardly for at least 3-5 minutes). kindly stop what you are doing and assist the patient in front of you. if you are doing something that you need to focus on without being interupted, maybe do that in the office behind the front desk or somewhere that is not a high patient contact area. in the very least, have one person available to help immediately while others return calls, do paperwork, et al. other than that, i rate my experience 10 stars! "

I will call the nurse to ask the doctor a question for me and she will sound like she has no idea what shes talking about when she calls me back and we will go back and forth until I finally speak to the doctor on the phone. I have also had an experience with someone else on the phone. I wanted a print out of my STD results. I called and was told I needed to sign a form and pay $10 and return in a few hours, which is all ridiculous. Then I spoke to someone else and was told I could pick them up at my convenience for free. Thought that was unusual but I did pick them up with no problem. If this survey is specifically asking about my last appointment for my HPV vaccine, it was very pleasant. "

I got caught up on them(came in on day because I was in pain & paid them for the due amount) & when my next appointment came around, because someone didn’t put it in the system which isn’t my problem they were rude & telling me I owed way more than I did.. then they went in the computer to check (should’ve did that in the first place instead of cutting me off & being rude) & they were the ones that made the mistake.. no apology no anything. Eyes stopped rolling & I was just told “oh they didn’t put the payment in the system but your caught up” unacceptable. Definitely not customer service..When you tell them you don’t have anything until whenever they tell you they need some type of payment. Now I don’t know who will lie about not having a dollar to their name but they feel your are. Then you tell them ok set my app to my pay day so your guaranteed to get your money. “Oh no you have to keep your app you can’t hold it off” so if I can’t hold it off but are a struggling single pregnant woman with absolutely no help. What can I do. Very rude & not compassionate. I know it’s a business but if someone is telling you they can’t pay till 4 days later because of pay Schel & you give an attitude . Then they ask for an app on pay day, and you still have an attitude what next?? I was recommended here & when I told the person that recommended me they said “yeah they’re rude and tried to overcharged ya also” . The drs and assistants are the reason why I will continue here. "

" Everything about the physician experience and intake was great! The doctor was more than helpful and addressed all of my concerns. My only complaint is that the front desk staff wouldn’t provide me with hard copies of the prescription that the doctor gave me. My prescription was sent to a pharmacy that recently closed and the information/script was not sent to the next nearest pharmacy. I now have to wait until the office is open in order to resolve this issue. I could’ve just taken the script to a new pharmacy myself if I had the hard copy. "

The only same thing was the front desk was not exactly over friendly. A unfriendly front desk may give the practice not the greatest look.
