" Having had venous ulcers for several years, I have found the wound center personnel to be very knowledgeable and competent. I ask a lot of questions, and they've always been very patient while educating me about best practices needed for treatment and "resolutions" for the affected areas. "

 Lela - 11/30/2018

" The quality of care here continues to be outstanding. This appointment was actually a return to their care following 90 days of inpatient treatment for non-wound -related issues. "

" Everyone of the staff who we see at Wound Care is very pleasant. It may seem strange to hear that we enjoy a doctor visit, but we do at your clinic! "

" A visit to Advanced Wound Care is hardly on my list of desired destinations, but the staff never fail to make it as pleasant as possible for me. I adore them all; they are jewels, including Kathy Hershberger P.A., Danielle-receptionist ectraordunaire, the *incredible* nurses: Sensational Sarah, Jovial Jennifer, Kindest Kelly and Generous Gladys. The entire staff is vital in the magic and science of healing and in the Center the healing goes deeper than any wound. "

" I was really appreciative that the clinic could get me in on a 2 day's notice. Matt was covering and he was kind and courteous, as always. I have been a patient here for 8 years. My nurses, Sarah, and Kellie continue to provide empathetic, complete care and make the appointments much more 'enjoyable'. I appreciate Danielle, she always has a smile and a kind word. I appreciate, also, that the PA, Kathie, understood that the wound was much too painful to debride and respected my pain level without forcing me to endure that yesterday. She called in my RX for antibiotics promptly and they were already filled by the time I arrived at the Pharmacy. Overall, I would say this has to be the best clinic. The nurses, and physicians work with us who are dealing with long term issues and a lot of pain. They really do care and understand, I love how they treat you as a whole person, and not just a wound, by offering a blanket, a pillow, and other comfort items like the water and television. Although I don't enjoy why I'm there, I do enjoy my nurses and doctors tremendously. We've shared a lot of laughter and a few tears...they understand how depressing long term conditions are and let me be myself. I continue to be impressed by the overall care I have received at St. Francis' clinics and the Hospital. The Wound Care clinic should be a model for all clinics. "

" The wait time was unusually long, this was simply because they were swamped and a little short of help that day. Normally the wait time is very brief. "

 Michael - 10/11/2017

 Mildred - 07/01/2017

" Always polite! Arnp, Kathy Hershberger is has great bedside manner and explains the diagnosis in explicit detail and whereas a patient can understand exactly whats tramspiring before them (me). "

 Maria - 06/20/2017

 Linda - 06/08/2017

" Good experience. "

 Thomas - 03/28/2017

" Doctor and her staff make you feel very comfortable not like a patient. It makes taking care of yourself alot easier. Wish more doctors had the same attitudes towards their patients. "

 Shelia - 03/27/2017

" Dr. Rider & PA Hershberger have been treating me since ?end of January/early February? While amputation is becoming likely, I know they have worked not only trying to improve the wound, but emotionally prepare me for potential outcome(s). My belief is they would not have me pursuing their prescribed treatment if not a possibility of improving the wound & my health. Entire clinic staff works well together! "

" I sent a survey last week and was unable to remember the new nurse's name. Her name is Sarah. She provided me excellent care. She treats me like a real person and understands the clinic is my Safe Place where I can cry and be silly, because it helps with the pain. I want to give a special shout out again to nurse Pat. He came out to get an older lady who was waiting on her appointment. She was in a wheelchair. She said to Pat as he was wheeling her into treatment that it was a 'little cold in here'. He immediately said "well, I will get you a blanket here and get you comfortable". He then asked her if she wanted to lay in the reclining chair or stay in her wheelchair, and how he could make her comfortable. I thought this was so NICE. This is the way I am treated, also. With dignity and respect for the WHOLE PERSON and not just what is going on with the ulcers and wounds. Another special mention of course to my favorite lady, Kellie, who is one of the best RN's around. She is so gentle, like Pat, and kind. Dr. Lo is an asset to St. Francis Advanced Wound Care. Her knowledge, respect of the patient, her sense of humor and her diligent care reflects on not just the hospital but herself as a physician and a person. I know they worry about the wait time sometimes, but do 'you want it fast or do you want it good'. I do have a special request. I would like for the Chief of Staff and the Hospital Administrator to go to the Wound Clinic and recognize this group. Dr. Lo, Dr. Rider, Kellie, Sarah, and Pat, Jennifer, and the Clinic Director. They need to be recognized as a top clinic. If I could contact JCAHO directly and tell them about how awesome this clinic is I would. Thank you. And I hope the Chief and Administrator will take the time to do so. They deserve more than just a good comment from the website. Thank you for the excellent continued care I have received in this clinic since it was formed. I have been here MANY TIMES in the past 4-6 years. I don't like being sick with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Vasculitis, Chronic Fatigue and wounds that don't heal, but they make it tolerable when I see their smiles and get hugs. Thank you again. "
